Gabriel Telfair-Cha (he/him): Editor in Chief
I’m from Washington, DC, and I’m a third-year Biology major with an interest in genetics. In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing games, spending time with my friends, and playing Mahjong. My favorite part of this job is being able to see all the individual talents of our contributors and helping these factors come together to contribute to an amazing end product.
Vivian Adkins (she/her): Chief Layout Editor
I’m from Ann Arbor, Michigan, and I’m a third-year English major with a Studio Art minor and a Business concentration. I adore crafting with new mediums, reading fantasy books, hiking in the mountains, and discovering new things about the world. The parts of this job that bring me the most joy are designing the layouts themselves, crafting solutions with the team, and helping layout editors figure out how to create the design they are envisioning.
Maia Fendig (they/she/he): Chief Layout Editor
I am from Chevy Chase, Maryland, and I am a third-year Psychology major with minors in Spanish and Environmental Studies. In my free time, I love reading mystery and other fiction novels, embroidering, wandering through the Arb, and searching for my next craft. My favorite part of working for The Synapse is being able to support the layout editors, working with the board to develop the magazine, and watching the issue come together each semester!
